What it is

A private assistant inside Microsoft Teams

The Seeda Agent is a private chat participant in Microsoft Teams, available to two named Inspirations Paint users. It answers questions from the marketing and marketing-mix-modelling data Seeda already manages under our existing engagement: media plans, channel spend, model outputs and project history.

💬Ask anything, any time

Why does search spend look low this month? Which data feeds the model? What changed since the last review? Answered in seconds, with the source attached.

🔎Every number explained

Each answer shows which data it came from, so insights can be trusted and acted on rather than parked until the next meeting.

⚠️Marketing issues caught early

Data gaps get spotted the week they happen, not after a model has been built on them.

📊Reporting made light

A monthly internal update from the marketing mix model becomes a five-minute conversation, not an afternoon of assembly.

Security posture

Day one, it reads nothing from your tenant

This is the part IT teams usually want first, so here it is plainly.

🚫No access to your Microsoft 365 data

The agent does not read mail, files, SharePoint, calendars or meeting content. Its knowledge base is Seeda-side project data, held on Seeda infrastructure.

🔒Dedicated, single-customer environment

Answers come from a private server on Google Cloud dedicated to Inspirations Paint. No shared instance. No other client's data can exist on it, by construction.

↩️Nothing written back

The agent participates in chat only. It writes nothing into your Microsoft 365 environment.

Instant kill switch

Disable the account or revoke the app in Microsoft Entra and the agent is gone, immediately and completely.

Enablement

Two ways IT can switch it on

Both are standard Microsoft mechanisms. Choose whichever fits your policies; either works for us.

Option 1

IT provisions one member account

Your IT creates and licenses one standard Microsoft 365 user (for example seeda-ai@ your domain). The Seeda Agent signs in as that account and joins one Teams chat with the two pilot users.

  • No third-party app, no API consent required
  • Your conditional access and MFA policies apply
  • Suspend, audit or remove it like any other user
  • Full sign-in logs in your tenant
Option 2

One admin-consent link

Your Microsoft administrator opens a single consent link for Seeda's registered Microsoft Entra application, reviews the exact permission list on screen, and clicks accept. Nothing to build or install.

  • Lightest possible setup, one click
  • Permissions visible before anything is granted
  • Minimal chat-only scopes (table below)
  • Revocable any time in Microsoft Entra

What each option can touch

CapabilityOption 1 · member accountOption 2 · consented app
Participate in the pilot Teams chatYes, as a normal chat memberYes, via Chat.ReadWrite (delegated)
Manage its own profile (name, photo)Yes, its own profile onlyYes, via User.ReadWrite (own profile only)
Read other users' chats or TeamsNoNo
Read mail, files, SharePoint, OneDriveNoNo, not requested
Read calendars or meeting recordingsNoNo, not requested
Write anything into Microsoft 365No, chat messages onlyNo, chat messages only

If the pilot ever expands (for example reading a shared document library), that is a new, separate consent conversation with your IT. Scope never grows silently.

For your IT team

Questions IT usually asks

Where does the data live?

In a dedicated single-customer environment on Google Cloud, operated by Seeda under our existing engagement with Inspirations Paint. It holds only this project's data.

What can the agent access on day one?

Nothing inside your Microsoft 365 tenant. Its knowledge comes entirely from project data Seeda already manages: media plans, model outputs and engagement history.

What is logged?

Questions asked and answers given are kept in the customer's own environment for quality and audit. Your tenant's standard sign-in and audit logs apply to whichever enablement option you choose.

How do we switch it off?

Option 1: disable or delete the account. Option 2: revoke the application in Microsoft Entra. Either takes effect immediately and removes all access.

What if the scope needs to grow later?

Any expansion is a new, explicit request to your IT with the specific permissions named. Nothing is ever added under an existing approval.
